C-YA Steering Committee

What Is It?

The Cardinal Young Alumni organization is headed by a young group of alumni volunteers who make up the Steering Committee, or "SteerCom" for short. The committee is in charge of organizing events, acting as a liason to the Stanford Alumni Association, and setting C-YA's overall direction. Meetings are held once a month, alternating locations between San Francisco and Stanford campus. Topics usually include discussions of upcoming events, our budget, and ways to increase alumni involvement.

Unlike most committee meetings you might encounter at work, SteerCom meetings are actually pretty fun. They're also a great way to meet other active young alumni.

Get Involved

New faces are always welcome at our SteerCom meetings, so we encourage you to join us at a meeting if you're interested. You can choose your level of involvement, and if you're feeling especially ambitious, you could even become an officer. A list of current SteerCom members can be found below.
